about us

since 2009 pivot art gallery has been an independent online project curated by Peter Hayes with the goal of providing engaging art and arts information to the community of the bay area and beyond. while we are geographically based in the east bay, our community extends much farther and we are exploring how that community can best be served. currently, the gallery exists online only; we are in the process of developing a space in the San Francisco bay area.

mission

pivot art gallery aims to provide high-quality contemporary art and striking exhibitions in an engaging conversation with art creators, viewers, collectors, and the greater community. the gallery is highly motivated to provide inspiration and incentive to artists and collectors, and to encourage the community to become more involved in the visual arts.

we provide a variety of services including: advocating for the arts, portfolio reviews, art sales, consignment, and exhibition, independent curation, exhibition coordination, and arts news and information. let us know how we can help you.
